Calculations of the Buk anti-aircraft missile system (SAM) of the Vostok group of forces disrupted an air attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the south Donetsk area of the special operation. This was announced on April 25 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

It is noted that attempts by Ukrainian formations to strike targets in the south Donetsk direction were detected by radar equipment during aerial reconnaissance. After that, the enemy's targets were promptly escorted by calculations of Buk anti-aircraft missile systems.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, anti-aircraft guided missiles were fired at enemy targets. During the firing, enemy attack and reconnaissance drones, including heavy unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) PD-2 and "Fierce", were destroyed.

"Our priority targets are all air targets that are moving in our direction. These are helicopters, planes, missiles, and enemy drones. Covering positions.
