On April 24, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, responding to a question about the art of Russian diplomacy, recalled an anecdote about Armenian radio.

"You know, if you go a little bit into the field of humor, remember, there was a series of jokes about the Armenian radio in the Soviet Union. The Armenian radio was asked: "What is diplomacy?" They replied that there are several options, but the most decent one is: diplomacy is the art of sending a person to the right place, but doing it in such a way that he looks forward to the trip," he said in an interview with Russian Public Television.
