Iran does not plan to hold a meeting with the US delegation during the visit of Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi to Pakistan. This was announced on April 25 by the official representative of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Ismail Bagai.
Shortly before that, Axios correspondent Barak Ravid said that direct talks between the delegations of the United States and Iran would take place on April 27 in Islamabad.
"There are no plans for a meeting between Iran and the United States. Iran's comments will be shared with Pakistan," Bagai wrote on the social network X (ex. Twitter).
