Junior Sergeant Kovyshkin destroyed an AGS crew and several Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters in his area.

Junior Sergeant Alexander Kovyshkin destroyed several militants and a crew of the AGS of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the area of a special military operation (SVO). This was announced on April 25 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

Kovyshkin was performing a combat mission as part of an assault unit to capture enemy positions, he entered the territory of an enemy trench and engaged in an unequal battle, as a result of which he was shot. Nevertheless, he provided himself with medical care on his own and continued to defend his position.

The Russian Defense Ministry emphasized Kovyshkin's courage and dedication, thanks to which the militants and the crew of the Stankovoi automatic grenade launcher (AGS) were destroyed, and the assault group was able to seize new frontiers.

The ministry also noted the professionalism of Junior Sergeant Denis Glyad, who performed the combat mission of delivering military equipment and provisions to the position of an artillery unit in one of the tactical areas.

During the task, the soldier noticed an enemy kamikaze drone and dodged it, but as a result of the detonation, his vehicle was damaged. After repairing the equipment, the Squad continued to move, during which it was repeatedly attacked by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Nevertheless, military equipment and provisions for the artillery unit were successfully delivered.

On April 24, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that an assault group under the command of Sergeant Nikolai Kharitonchik had advanced deep into the defense of the Ukrainian militants during offensive operations and was able to gain a foothold on a new frontier. The ministry also noted the actions of Private Vladislav Stolyarov, who carried out combat missions to locate enemy personnel and equipment near the line of contact. It is specified that he managed to identify the hidden positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as a result of which the Russian military eliminated two armored combat vehicles and up to 10 fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with an artillery salvo.
