France announced the bombing of the Soyuz launch pad at the Kourou cosmodrome.

The launch pad of the Russian Soyuz-ST rocket at the Kourou cosmodrome in French Guiana was dismantled by an explosion. This was announced on April 24 by the French space blog Techniques Spatiales on its page on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

Footage posted on social media shows how employees of the cosmodrome dismantled the cable masts and truss supports used to bring the rocket to an upright position. Then, by means of an explosion, the mobile service tower, which reaches a height of 52 meters, was dismantled.
