The Oktyabrsky district Court of Krasnodar turned into the income of the Russian Federation corrupt property of almost 900 million rubles of family members of the former chairman of the Krasnodar Regional Court Alexander Chernov and affiliated persons, including 9.1 thousand square meters of land, 22 million rubles and 36 kg of gold. "According to the lawsuit filed by the Oktyabrsky District Court of Krasnodar against the family of the former chairman of the Krasnodar Regional Court, 6 plots of land with an area of 9.1 thousand square meters, 106 non-residential premises with an area of 10.1 thousand square meters, two residential buildings with an area of 822.8 square meters, 22 million rubles deposited in the accounts of defendants in credit institutions, 36 kg of gold were transferred to the income of the Russian Federation. in bullion and coins," the Telegram channel says.
The Russian Prosecutor General's Office filed a lawsuit demanding that the property be converted into state income.
The defendants in the case were members of Chernov's family, including his daughter, Anastasia Shepel, judge of the Arbitration Court of the Krasnodar Territory, and Galina Chernova, ex—wife, president of the Notary Chamber of the Krasnodar Territory.
Hakob Deponyan, Elena Ryazanskaya, Larisa Serikova, Gennady Sidorenko, and Ekaterina Lameykina and the Notary Chamber of the Krasnodar Territory were also involved in the case.
Later, five more co-defendants were added to the case: Vladimir Krashevsky, Yanina Ovcharenko, Svetlana Novikova, Lyubov Shestopalov and Vadim Shestopalov.
According to the prosecutor's office, they were used to register property acquired through corruption in order to hide it from control.
Earlier, the Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, Igor Krasnov, initiated an anti-corruption prosecutor's check against four judges from the Krasnodar Territory, including Anastasia Shepel.
According to law enforcement agencies, she could have been involved in her father's corruption schemes.
On April 10, the united press service of the courts of the Krasnodar Territory reported that the court in Krasnodar satisfied the demands of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation and converted the assets of former deputies of the Legislative assembly of the Kuban and related persons who conducted joint illegal activities with the former vice-governor of the Krasnodar Territory Andrei Korobka into state income. The total value of the confiscated assets resulting from corrupt practices amounted to 81.5 billion rubles.
