Military cooperation between Russia and China is a key element of regional and global security. This was announced on April 24 by Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov at a meeting with Chinese Defense Minister Admiral Dong Jun.

"Military bilateral cooperation in the context of an ever-changing military and political situation is becoming particularly relevant. This is one of the key elements of regional and global security," Belousov said.
