Armed Forces drone attack prevented in Dagestan

An attack by drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) was prevented in Dagestan. This was announced on April 24 by the head of the republic Sergey Melikov.

"An attack by enemy drones has been successfully prevented in our republic. Fortunately, there are no casualties," Melikov wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to him, operational services are currently continuing to work at the scene, and measures are being taken to eliminate the consequences. The head of the region added that the authorities and law enforcement agencies are taking all necessary actions to ensure the safety of citizens and protect infrastructure facilities.

On the same day, the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in the Kherson region reported the death of an employee of their department, Ivan Buzin, and his wife during an attack by a Ukrainian UAV on the territory of the region. The exact circumstances of the tragedy were not specified.
