At the Beijing Auto Show, Li Auto showed a new modification of the L9 crossover, which is popular on the Russian market. The flagship version of the model was named Livis, according to a correspondent of Izvestia from the motor show in China on April 24.

The Lixiang L9 Livis differs from previous versions of the crossover with a two-tone body paint in the style of luxury cars such as Rolls-Royce, modified door handles (now they are half-hidden) and a redesigned taillight.

The length of the crossover is 5,255 mm, and there are three rows of seats in the cabin. The SUV is equipped with an innovative active suspension, with which each wheel can be forced to rise and fall independently of each other, which ensures cornering with minimal body rolls, stability and comfort on the highway.

The SUV also has a fully-controlled chassis (the rear axle steers during maneuvers) and steering and braking systems "by wire", and Mach processors with a total computing power of 2560 TOPS are responsible for the upgraded complex of autonomous driving systems.

The L9 Livis hybrid powerplant is equipped with a new 1.5-liter internal combustion engine, which works as a generator, and a 72.7 kWh battery. The range on pure electricity is 340 km, and in hybrid mode it is about 1,500 km. The launch of sales of the crossover on the local market starts on May 15.

Earlier that day, it was reported that at the auto show in China, Hongqi presented its first SUV, which may appear in Russia in the future, and the Voyah brand released the Taishan X8 crossover with a berth.

In addition, Xpeng showed the GX full-size crossover, which resembles the British Range Rover SUV; BMW presented the updated 7-series sedan, and Nio demonstrated the ES9 crossover, which may become the largest representative of the SUV segment in the Chinese market.
