The bilateral agreements were signed during a meeting of the Supervisory Board of the Cantata International Classical Music Festival in Moscow.

The Cantata Festival has been held since 2021 and is one of the key cultural and educational projects at the federal level. In 2026, the festival will be held from June 12 to June 16 in the Kaliningrad region. On Russia Day, June 12, concerts of "Cantata" are also planned in Moscow and several regions of the country — more than 10 cities will participate in the project.

The Supervisory Board of the festival, chaired by Sergey Novikov, Head of the Office of the President of the Russian Federation for Public Projects, brought together cultural and artistic figures, representatives of business and government. The festival is considered as one of the key events in the anniversary program of the region and a tool for working with cultural heritage, Novikov noted: "On behalf of the President, the organizing committee for celebrating the 80th anniversary of the Kaliningrad Region was established this year. This is a unique region, so the whole country pays special attention to it. And the Cantata Festival is one of the key events of the anniversary. The original idea of the festival was to promote the restoration of the architectural highlights of the Kaliningrad region, to make them cultural dominants and points of attraction for citizens. By coming to classical music concerts, residents support their native region and contribute to the restoration of architectural sites. We can say that in this sense, the idea of the festival has been fully realized."

The festival has a direct impact on the tourist flow and the positioning of the region as a cultural center, said Alexey Besprozvanikh, Governor of the Kaliningrad Region: "According to the dynamics of ticket sales, we see that tourists plan their trips during the festival period. And this is not only an internal Russian flow – European tourists continue to actively visit the Kaliningrad region, and the festival serves as an important tool for maintaining cultural ties. As part of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the formation of the Kaliningrad Region, we have about 400 events planned, but, of course, one of the key events will be the Cantata. Thank you very much for the fact that the Kaliningrad region is the point of attraction for such an international event."

Two strategic partnership agreements were signed during the meeting. Cooperation with Innopraktika is aimed at strengthening the international humanitarian agenda and synchronizing cultural, scientific and business potential, said Natalia Popova, the company's First Deputy General Director: "In the context of the transformation of international relations, culture is becoming a key tool for building trust and sustainable dialogue. Our research, conducted jointly with experts from Moscow State University, shows that it is possible to translate meanings only in the language of culture — this is a universal environment in which understanding arises and community is formed. For Innopraktika, which operates at the intersection of science, technology and education, the value component is fundamental — without it, the long-term development of neither technology nor international partnerships is impossible. In this context, we consider the Cantata Festival as a strategic platform combining the cultural and international agenda. Joint projects such as Picture of the World already show that cultural interaction can generate sustained interest in Russia and build new humanitarian ties, including with representatives of different countries and cultural environments."

The partnership with the Tretyakov Gallery is focused on strengthening the role of academic art in shaping the modern cultural environment, said Olga Galaktionova, General Director of the gallery: "Today we are in a situation of high competition for audience attention — and this is not only about the cultural sphere, but about a broader information and semantic space. In these conditions, those projects that go beyond one genre and form a holistic cultural experience win. These are interdisciplinary initiatives that can combine different types of art and work with an audience on a deeper level. The Cantata Festival is one of such projects. We are always happy to provide our site and are very pleased that the Tretyakov Gallery branch in Kaliningrad, although it is quite young, is associated with Kantata, which sets a high standard and creates a modern cultural environment that is interesting to all generations."

In 2025, the Cantata Festival reached the federal level — for the first time in the history of the All-Russian Classical Music Marathon "Cantata. Russia" united the regions of the country from Vladivostok to Kaliningrad and became a landmark event celebrating Russia Day. And the further development of the festival is connected with the expansion of geography and integration into the industrial and technological agenda, said the general producer of the festival, the general director of the MAMT. Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Andrey Borisov: "The Cantata Festival, which was originally conceived as a regional festival, has gone beyond Kaliningrad. Kaliningrad remains a place of power and a point of attraction, but the energy of the festival goes to Russia. It is fundamentally important to include in the geography of the festival cities related to Russia's technological leadership, cities where the future of industry, science, and energy is being created, where movement is taking place, and where Russia is strengthening. This is how we build a unified logic: culture as a carrier of traditions and meanings, and technology as a space for development and the future. The Cantata Festival, with its slogan "Ahead of Time," perfectly combines culture and technology."
