- The envoy to the Ural Federal District, Zhoga, stated Zelensky's lack of independence in decision-making
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky is not an independent politician, and Western politicians are interested in continuing the conflict. This was stated on April 24 by the presidential envoy to the Ural Federal District, hero of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) Artem Zhoga.
"Zelensky is not an independent entity. Although he is trying to prove himself as an independent politician, this is not the case. There are people from other Western countries who are interested in continuing the conflict, in a hotbed of tension on Russia's borders," he said in a conversation with RT.
According to Zhoga, Western politicians will slow down and disrupt any agreements on the conflict in Ukraine. He added that the signing of the peace treaty could initiate a number of anti-corruption investigations in the West related to the financing of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and the Kiev authorities.
The presidential envoy also did not rule out that some politicians would be tried for embezzlement, embezzlement and abuse of office.
Vladimir Konstantinov, Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea, said on April 4 that Zelensky was not interested in withdrawing Ukrainian troops from the controlled part of Donbass, since it would benefit him to continue fighting. According to the parliamentarian, because of the peace agreement, the Ukrainian leader may lose his corruption scheme.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on April 3 that the Russian side had not set a specific time frame for Ukraine to withdraw its units from Donbas. According to him, such a step would facilitate the transition to the conflict settlement process by political and diplomatic means.
