A tactical flight exercise with a helicopter squadron was conducted in Primorsky Krai in a separate mixed aviation regiment of the Pacific Fleet Naval Aviation. This was announced on April 24 by the press service of the Pacific Fleet.

It is specified that Ka-27 helicopters of various modifications and a Mi-8 transport helicopter took part in the maneuvers. According to the legend of the exercise, the threat of a missile strike and an attack by enemy unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) on the airfield was announced.

The personnel worked out actions to remove equipment from under attack, as well as relocating to alternate airfields and unequipped sites. After arrival, the crews performed helicopter camouflage.

At the final stage, the crew of the anti-submarine Ka-27PL flew over the waters of the Sea of Japan and practiced searching for a simulated enemy submarine using radar and sonar equipment.
The flight and engineering staff of the regiment, as well as logistics and communications specialists, were involved in the exercise.

On April 7, the press service of the Pacific Fleet reported that a detachment of ships of the Russian Pacific Fleet made a business call at the port of Sihanoukville in the Kingdom of Cambodia. It was clarified that the crews were met at the pier by representatives of the Cambodian Navy, as well as Anatoly Borovik, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Kingdom.
