The manager of the hostel involved in the Crocus case received three years in prison.

A court in Moscow has sentenced to three years in prison the manager of the hostel where the perpetrators of the terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall illegally lived. This follows from the court materials, which were reviewed by RIA Novosti on April 24.

According to the materials of the court, the woman was found guilty of organizing the illegal stay of foreign citizens in Russia. She ran an apartment hotel on the ground floor of an apartment building where Dalerjon Mirzoev and Mukhammadsobir Fayzov lived for some time. The manager did not notify the migration control authorities about the arrival of foreigners who did not have a temporary residence permit.

"[Mirzoev and Fayzov] came every day, paid for their stay at the apartment hotel in cash or by transfer to a bank card, spent the night, then packed up all their belongings and left, and then came back and re-settled," the documents quoted the convict as saying.

The manager said that law enforcement officers came to her house immediately after the terrorist attack. She fully admitted her guilt and repented of what she had done.

In addition to three years in prison, the court banned the woman from engaging in activities related to the provision of hotel services for two years. Prior to the entry into force of the verdict, the convict was on her own recognizance.

The perpetrators and 15 of their accomplices were sentenced to life and long terms, but the investigation continues to look for the organizers.

A participant in the trial on April 8 reported that the perpetrators of the terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall initially considered one of the buildings of the Moscow City business center as a target. After that, the alleged curator indicated the Krokus concert hall as the target.

The terrorist attack in Crocus occurred on March 22, 2024. Then armed terrorists in camouflage broke into the concert hall and opened fire, setting the premises on fire. As a result of the incident, 149 people were killed and over 600 were injured in various degrees of severity. At the same time, one person is missing.
