On April 23, the 48th Moscow International Film Festival (MIFF) ended in the capital, where the winners from different countries and genres were announced.

"The prize for the best director's work is Anton Bilzho, the film Vygotsky (Russia)," follows from a post on the Telegram channel of the event.

The Russian action drama "Father" won the Audience Award. The film was created by the Kinomir production company and the KION online cinema with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. The distributor is NMG Film Distribution. The film will be released in Russia on May 7.

The golden prize for the best film was awarded to the Indian drama "Passion" from director Fazil Razak. The special jury prize went to Spain and Romania for the film "Retribution" by Daniel Guzman. In the framework of the Russian Premieres competition, Viktor Shamirov's film "The Temperature of the Universe" was named the best.

Acting awards were given to Sergey Gilev (Russia) for Vygotsky and Amrutha Krishnakumar (India) for Passion. The best documentary film was "The Long Way Home" from China (directed by Xuxong Zheng).

The opening of the Moscow International Film Festival took place in the capital on April 17. The stars of Russian show business shone on the red carpet. The Izvestia correspondent spoke with Sofia Skaya, Valeria Guy Germanika, Dmitry Chebotarev and Elizaveta Klimova. Chebotarev and Klimova came to the track in strict paired images, but Valeria Guy Germanika froze a little in her trendy "naked" dress. The director noted that she dressed like this on purpose to draw attention to her new film "Masha".
