Trump ruled out the possibility of using nuclear weapons against Iran

American leader Donald Trump said on April 23 that the United States does not intend to use nuclear weapons in Iran.

"Why would I use nuclear weapons if we have already completely destroyed them using conventional methods," he said in an interview with reporters at the White House.

According to him, no one should have the right to use nuclear weapons under any circumstances.

Tehran considered the extension of the ceasefire regime to be another ploy by the United States to prepare for a strike.

On April 21, Trump extended the ceasefire in the conflict with Iran at the request of Pakistan until the submission of Tehran's proposals and the completion of the negotiation process. According to him, the US military in the Middle East region remains on alert, and the naval blockade of Iranian ports continues.

The Washington Post reported on April 22 that the American leader may be forced to conclude a peace agreement with Tehran based on the 2015 nuclear deal (JCPOA) of the former head of the White House, Barack Obama, from which Washington later withdrew.
