This year, music experts showed increased activity in forming shortlists of nominees for the "MUZ-TV Award 2026" called "Movement". This was stated by the general director of the TV channel Zakhar Babin at the MUZ-TV gala dinner at the Moscow Marriott Imperial Plaza hotel.

"A gala dinner is always a very important, I would say, a key stage of every MUZ-TV Award. From the huge number of songs, video clips, and albums released last year, the Expert community selected and shortlisted the nominees for the MUZ-TV 2026 Award from an impressive list of artists. I admit that such activity among experts has not been observed for several years, and I am grateful to everyone for their response, participation and concern for what is happening in the Russian music industry. Your choice is very important! And I bow low to the artists for the fact that it is you who start this musical world, give it development and constant movement," he said.

The name of the seventh presenter of the award ceremony was also revealed at the event. Marina Kravets became one of them. Together with her, the ceremony will be held by musician Vanya Dmitrienko, TV presenters Regina Todorenko and Lera Kudryavtseva, singer Nikolai Baskov, comedian Vladimir Marconi and blogger Dmitry Maslennikov.

The guests of the gala dinner were the nominees and winners of previous years, representatives of the expert jury, producers and representatives of show business. Among the star guests is Philip Kirkorov, who performed his main hits at the event.

The artists shared their opinions about the nominations and what the word "movement" means to them — the theme of this year's award. Singer Lucy Chebotina noted that the movement fully embodies the sphere of activity of artists.

"Considering that all artists are in constant motion, moving, flying, traveling, it seems to me that "movement" absolutely embodies our field of activity, and it is very close to us. And from the point of view of the MUZ-TV Award, perhaps the movement embodies that every time we get better, more successful and bigger," she said.

Singer Zivert linked her new song GAZ with the theme of movement as a metaphor for life.

"How well my new song GAZ was timed to coincide with the MUZ-TV Award 2026. Movement, because "gas" is just such a metaphor for the fact that life is movement, and no matter what happens, no matter what peak you are at, you still need to move in the only direction — forward. I am very grateful, it is very pleasant. I haven't attended any awards for several years. You can say such a comeback — and so many nominations at once," the singer shared.

TV presenter Yana Rudkovskaya expressed hope that Vanya Dmitrienko would receive a well-deserved award. He himself was nominated for "Best Solo Concert" and "Best Performer", and his tracks were included in the "Best Song", "Best Video" and "Best Collaboration" sections. Rudkovskaya called Dmitrienko a worthy musician, but also noted the high competition in his nomination.

Singer Alsou admitted that she would like to win the "Best Collaboration" nomination for her duet with Eva Vlasova. And producer Viktor Drobysh noted that many artists have done a good job. Among his favorites he named The Hatters, "Three Days of Rain" and Prokhor Chaliapin.

Immediately after the announcement of the shortlists, the second stage of expert voting and open viewer voting on the MUZ-TV website are launched. You can vote in each nomination and find out more about tickets for the ceremony on the website premia.muz-tv.ru .

The visual style of the project will be based on optical illusions and hypnotic effects, creating an image of "endless movement".
