As a result of a railway accident in Denmark, a Russian citizen was among the 18 injured. This was announced on April 23 by the Russian Embassy in Denmark in its Telegram channel.

"This morning, on April 23, a serious train accident occurred in Denmark, north of Copenhagen. According to information promptly transmitted by the Danish police to the embassy, a Russian citizen was among the victims. She was taken to Copenhagen Central Hospital," the statement said.

According to the diplomatic mission, after providing the necessary medical care, the Russian woman was discharged from the hospital.

The accident was reported by the Reuters news agency on the same day, citing local emergency services. The incident occurred near the village of Kagerup, about 30 kilometers north of Copenhagen, when two passenger trains collided.
