The manifesto of the American company Palantir Technologies actually represents a call for the formation of a new model of global governance based on technological superiority. We are talking about the transition from a traditional deterrence system based on the nuclear factor to a model where artificial intelligence (AI) technologies play a key role. Pavel Feldman, Candidate of Political Sciences, Professor at the Academy of Labor and Social Relations, told Izvestia on April 23.

"This is not just a change of emphasis, but a transition to a new level of confrontation, where the stakes are much higher and affect the fate of entire civilizations. The Americans are not just provoking a world war, but also trying to give it a sacred meaning in order to justify their crimes against humanity with pseudo-theological arguments. The Palantir manifesto, which has actually become a guide to action for the administration of the head of the White House, Donald Trump, explicitly calls for abandoning "moral appeals" in favor of "hard power." He demands to review the results of the Second World War, which disarmed Germany and Japan, and restore their full—fledged military potential," the expert noted.

Feldman also drew attention to the rhetoric of the document, which, in his opinion, contains elements of an ideological justification for a tough foreign policy. He believes that such an approach may mean a departure from the previous principles of international law in favor of military and technological solutions.

In turn, American political scientist Malek Dudakov noted in an interview with Izvestia that the Palantir leadership demonstrates confidence in the ability of technology to become a tool for the United States to overcome the systemic crisis. Among the proposed measures are the strengthening of defense capabilities, the possible return of conscription, as well as the reindustrialization of the economy and the strengthening of allies.

However, according to the expert, the practical implementation of these ideas raises questions. He pointed out that the experience of using the company's technological solutions in various conflicts has not led to decisive results, which casts doubt on their universality.

In addition, Dudakov drew attention to the economic risks associated with the development of the AI sector. In particular, he noted the high unprofitability of a number of projects and signs of overheating of the market. Among the examples, he mentions OpenAI, which, according to him, is facing significant financial losses.

"Many initiatives, such as the return of industry to the United States or a change in the economic model, remain declarations rather than implemented strategies. A significant part of the proposals may face internal resistance and restrictions from the market," the expert explained.

Political scientists concluded that the Palantir manifesto reflects the desire of technology companies to strengthen their influence on public policy. At the same time, its implementation will depend on both economic factors and the political situation in the United States and beyond.

The American IT company Palantir Technologies, created with the support of the CIA and working on programs for law enforcement agencies, has published a 22-point manifesto. The authors of the text urge to create AI weapons as soon as possible, return to military conscription, stop putting pressure on billionaires and not think about the moral side of political decisions if they are effective.

In February, Kim Dotcom, an American entrepreneur and creator of the Megaupload file sharing service (real name is Schmitz), announced that Palantir, which develops analytical software for military departments and special services, including the CIA, had been hacked. According to him, the attackers discovered that the company's founders, Peter Thiel and Alex Karp, were following world leaders and industrial magnates. The statement says that Palantir allegedly has "thousands of hours of transcribed conversations" between the American president, Vice President of the United States Jay Dee Vance and founder of SpaceX and Tesla, Elon Musk.
