Until an agreement is reached with Iran, no ship in the Strait of Hormuz will enter or leave without the approval of the US Navy. This was announced on April 23 by the American President Donald Trump.

"No vessel may enter or exit without permission from the United States Navy. It is tightly sealed until Iran makes a deal!" he wrote on the Truth Social network.

According to the American leader, the United States currently has "full control" over the Strait of Hormuz.

At the same time, it was reported the day before that at least 34 tankers and gas carriers associated with Iran passed through Hormuz, despite the American blockade. Also, 17 ships were loaded, which indicates the continuation of energy exports from Iran, despite threats from the United States.

On April 21, Trump extended the ceasefire in the conflict with Iran at the request of Pakistan until the submission of Tehran's proposals and the completion of the negotiation process. According to him, the US military in the Middle East region remains on alert, and the naval blockade of Iranian ports continues.
