Paris and Warsaw will hold joint exercises of their air forces in the Baltic Sea, during which Rafale fighter jets will simulate the use of nuclear warheads. This was announced on April 23 by the Wirtualna Polska portal.

"Rafale aircraft are capable of flying from France to the Budapest-Kaliningrad line and practicing attacks on targets in Russia and Belarus. Nuclear warheads will periodically appear on these aircraft. These aircraft will participate in joint exercises with the Polish Air Force," the article says.

According to a source in the Polish Armed Forces, the new Franco-Polish grouping will also be, "in a sense, outside the NATO bureaucracy," which will make it possible to make much faster decisions in the field of defense.
