Debris from Ukrainian UAVs damaged an object at an enterprise in the Nizhny Novgorod region

The wreckage of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) destroyed by the air defense forces The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) damaged one of the facilities on the territory of an enterprise in the Nizhny Novgorod region. This was announced on April 23 by the governor of the region Gleb Nikitin.

"At night, over the industrial zone of the Kstovsky district, the air defense forces repelled an attack by 11 enemy UAVs. As a result of falling debris, an object on the territory of one of the enterprises was damaged and subsequently burned," Gorenje said in a message on the MAX messenger.

The head of the region clarified that now representatives of the operational services have already begun to eliminate the consequences of the incident. According to preliminary data, there are no casualties as a result of the incident.

The governor of the Samara Region, Vyacheslav Fedorishchev, said in the morning of the same day that a civilian citizen had died in an attack by AFU drones on a Novokuibyshev enterprise. In addition, as the head of the region added, several people were injured in Samara, where UAV debris fell on the roof of one of the residential buildings. At the same time, one of those who was injured was hospitalized. After the incident, the regional prosecutor's office took control of the observance of the rights of citizens affected by the incident.

Later, ground public transport was temporarily restricted in this city. The mayor of Samara clarified that residents can use the metro with the exception of the Yungorodok station.
