Peskov declared Russia's readiness for negotiations with the United States

Russia is ready to receive American negotiators "even tomorrow." This was announced on April 22 by the Kremlin's official representative.

This is how Peskov commented on the possibility of a new visit to Russia by US representatives Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.

When asked if a meeting with American representatives could take place before the end of the week, the Russian president's press secretary responded positively.

"This meeting can take place even tomorrow. We are always glad to see our American friends here," he told Channel One.

The New York Times reported on April 21 that a delegation of negotiators from the United States plans to pay another visit to Russia to discuss issues of the Ukrainian settlement.

On April 18, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov announced the positive attitude of the Russian Federation towards the possibility of resuming negotiations in Istanbul on a settlement in Ukraine, but does not consider this topic a priority. He noted that Moscow has never walked away from initiatives of diplomatic discussion and is ready to consider proposals from interested states.
