A criminal case has been opened into the deterioration of the health of several children in one of the gymnasiums in Yekaterinburg. This was announced on April 22 in the press service of the Investigative Department (SU) of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia in the Sverdlovsk region.
"The Investigative Department for the Verkhny Isetsky district of Yekaterinburg <...> has opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Article 236 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of sanitary and epidemiological rules") after a number of young students from one of the city's gymnasiums sought medical help," the agency's website says.
The press service added that the Investigative Committee is now establishing the details of the incident.: They are interviewing witnesses, clarifying the number of victims and the severity of the damage to their health. Appropriate examinations have been appointed.
On April 16, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation opened a criminal case due to cases of intestinal infection in kindergarten No. 23 in Odintsovo, Moscow region. According to the investigation, on April 9, 27 pupils of the institution aged from two to seven years applied to the hospital in the city. They showed symptoms of intestinal infection.
The Department of Rospotrebnadzor in the Moscow Region announced on the same day that the department was investigating cases of intestinal infection in a kindergarten in Odintsovo.
