The new Russian crossover Jeland J6 was delivered to dealers of the brand
The first Jeland J6 crossovers have been shipped to the brand's official dealerships. This is stated in the message of the press service of the domestic brand, which was received by Izvestia on April 22.
It is stated that the dealer network of the new brand in Russia will include 175 centers in 95 cities. The production of Jeland cars is organized at the automobile plant in Shushary (St. Petersburg) of the AGR holding, which brings the new brand to the market together with Defetoo.
Earlier that day, Izvestia noticed that a price list for the J6 crossover appeared on the official website of the new Russian brand Jeland. The SUV will be offered in three trim levels at prices starting from 2.29 million, 2.5 million and 2.65 million rubles, respectively. In terms of prices and equipment, the model repeats the Chinese Jaecoo J6 crossover, which entered the market in early March. Shortly after the publication, the price list was removed from the website.
The Jeland J6 will be equipped with a 1.5-liter turbo engine with a capacity of 147 hp (210 Nm) in conjunction with a six-speed robotic transmission, front-wheel drive only. Acceleration to "hundreds" takes 10 seconds. Fuel consumption in the combined cycle is stated at 7.5 liters per 100 km, the engine is capable of running on Ai-92 gasoline. The length of the car is 4509 mm with a wheelbase of 2610 mm. Ground clearance is 176 mm.
The production of the Jeland J6 will be set up at the automobile plant of the AGR holding in St. Petersburg Shushary. A prototype of one of the Jeland models was demonstrated to the Governor of St. Petersburg, Alexander Beglov, at the end of March.
Prior to that, on April 15, it was reported that AGR holding and Defetoo had started forming a dealer network of the domestic Jeland car brand. The start of full-cycle production of Jeland vehicles and the start of sales are scheduled for the second quarter of 2026.
