Slovakia will not support the new package of European Union sanctions against Russia until the operation of the Druzhba oil pipeline is resumed. This was announced on April 22 by the Prime Minister of the Republic Robert Fico.

"We will wait for the real opening of the Druzhba oil pipeline [by Ukraine] and do not plan to approve new anti—Russian sanctions yet," the politician said.
