The European Commission (EC) has excluded a ban on oil transportation from the 20th package of sanctions against Russia, suggesting that EU countries adopt new restrictions in a stripped-down form. This was announced on April 22 by a diplomatic source in Brussels.
"The European Commission has submitted for consideration a proposal to adopt the 20th package of sanctions against Russia, excluding from it a complete ban on the transportation of Russian oil," the diplomat told TASS.
