The military operation against Iran has led to a critical depletion of US stocks of key weapons. CNN reported this on April 21, citing data from experts and sources familiar with the Pentagon's internal assessments.

The publication notes that during the current conflict, the United States has already used up at least 45% of its precision missiles, about 50% of THAAD missiles (for intercepting ballistic targets), as well as almost 50% of shells for Patriot anti-aircraft systems. In addition, the country's Air Force fired about 30% of Tomahawk cruise missiles, more than 20% of long-range air-to-ground missiles and about 20% of SM-3 and SM-6 interceptor missiles into the territory of the Islamic Republic.
