Private Grets destroyed two UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine while performing a combat mission

Private Viktor Grets, performing a combat mission to restore wired communications, personally destroyed two unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced by the Russian Defense Ministry on April 22.

It is specified that the enemy used attack UAVs. The soldier independently hit two FPV drones and promptly restored stable communication between the units.

Thanks to Gretz's professional skills, the assault group was ordered at the set time and completed its combat mission without loss of personnel.

The department also noted the courage of Corporal Evgeny Fedoseev, who carried out reconnaissance of the area in a tactical direction. At that time, the enemy was carrying out intense artillery fire. Fedoseev discovered the position of the machine-gun crew, then established interaction with the operator of the FPV drone and directed a strike at the identified target.

Thanks to the confident actions of the corporal, the assault groups were able to move forward.

On April 20, the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that Guard Sergeant Nikolai Alekseev commanded the calculation of FPV drones and carried out the task of detecting and eliminating AFU equipment. Despite the work of enemy electronic warfare (EW) systems, the crew managed to make two sorties to strike drones at targets. Three units of automotive equipment, one self-propelled gun and the personal force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were successfully eliminated. The Russian Defense Ministry also noted the professionalism and bravery of Guard Lieutenant Ruslan Khalillaev, who commanded a motorized rifle platoon during the assault on the Ukrainian Armed Forces stronghold in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
