The Ministry of Defense published footage of the liberation of the village of Grishino in the DPR

During the liberation of the settlement of Grishino in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) from Ukrainian militants, the actions of the assault groups were actively supported by the calculations of the troops of unmanned systems. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation published the footage of the liberation on April 21.

The footage shows how the operators of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) accompanied the assault groups, adjusted the artillery. They also promptly attacked the manpower of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).

In addition, the assault groups carried out a sweep of houses, basements and forest belts, after which they unfurled Russian flags in different areas of the settlement.

The Ministry of Defense stressed that Grishin's release in the DPR improved the tactical position of the Russian Armed Forces in the Dobropolsky area of the Special Military Operation.

The settlement of Grishino was liberated on the same day by a unit of the Center group of forces.

Specialists will have to clear almost 1,200 hectares of land and prepare sites for the construction of infrastructure.

On the same day, units of the North group of forces liberated the village of Veterinary in the Kharkiv region. During the offensive, they hit two mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and a defense brigade in the areas of Zemlyanok, Ternovaya and Izbitsky in the Kharkiv region.

Earlier in the day, the Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, Valery Gerasimov, said that the Russian army had taken control of 34 settlements in the special military operation zone in March and April.
