Footage of the aftermath of the accident on the Garden Ring in Moscow has been published

As a result of an accident involving six cars and an electric bicycle in the center of Moscow, traffic on the Garden Ring was hampered, fragments of broken cars scattered all over the road, and some vehicles flew onto the sidewalk. Footage of the aftermath of the accident on April 21 was shown by Izvestia correspondent Sergey Khaidarov.

The passenger car suffered the most, which was completely deformed. The footage shows the work of rescuers who are trying to remove the vehicle's battery so that it does not catch fire.

"From afar, I saw the headlights flashing like "checkers" when playing. Then I see that someone crashed — an explosion, plastic flying in different directions. And the car that crashed is flying up. I started dodging, and she hit my (car — Ed.) with her bottom in flight," said an eyewitness to the accident.

The press service of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Moscow reported that a cyclist was killed in an accident on the Garden Ring. In addition, two people were injured in the incident.
