A man was killed in a massive electric scooter accident in Moscow.
In Moscow, one person was killed in a massive road accident involving five cars and an electric scooter on Sadovaya-Chernogryazskaya Street. This was reported by the emergency services on April 20.
"Upon arrival of the units, it was established that five passenger cars and one electric scooter collided, resulting in one death and two injuries," RIA Novosti quoted the emergency services as saying.
The data was confirmed by the press service of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the capital.
"The driver of a BMW car collided with a cyclist, followed by hitting the repair site and four other vehicles," the agency said in a message on the MAX messenger.
The injured BMW driver and passenger were hospitalized with injuries of varying severity.
On April 20, the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia reported that 479 accidents were recorded on Russian roads over the past weekend. As a result of the incidents, 46 people were killed and 593 injured. 38 of the dead were drivers and passengers.
