In Moscow, two people were hospitalized after a massive road accident
As a result of an accident on Sadovaya-Chernogryazskaya Street in the area of house 13 in Moscow, two victims were hospitalized with injuries of varying severity. This was announced on April 20 in the press service of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the capital.
"The driver of a BMW car collided with a cyclist, followed by a collision at the repair site and four other vehicles. <...> The driver and passenger of the BMW were taken to medical facilities with injuries of varying severity," the ministry said in a statement on the MAX messenger.
A cyclist was also killed in the accident. Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and an investigative task force are working on the site.
On April 20, the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Russian Interior Ministry reported that 479 road accidents were recorded on Russian roads over the past weekend, in which 46 people were killed and 593 injured. 38 of the dead were drivers and passengers.
