The new Geely Coolray crossover will appear in the official dealerships of the brand in Russia in the near future. Prices and package contents will be announced later. This is stated in the message of the brand's representative office, which was received by Izvestia on April 20.

The Geely Coolray will be offered with a 1.5-liter four-cylinder turbo engine with a 147 hp (270 Nm) powertrain. The motor is paired with a seven-speed robot with two wet clutches. The average fuel consumption in the combined cycle is 6.5 liters per 100 km.

Compared to the previous generation model, the crossover received a wide radiator grille with a wavy pattern, as well as an updated bumper and an enlarged rear spoiler. In addition, the new Coolray can be distinguished by its special 18-inch black discs and red calipers. The car will be available in an exclusive purple mother-of-pearl (Unicorn Grey) color with a contrasting black roof.

The cabin has an 8.8-inch digital instrument panel and a 14.6-inch media system. The list of equipment also includes a full package of winter options, including electric windshield heating. A set of second-level electronic driver assistance systems (ADAS) has been added to the equipment, including intelligent cruise control, lane keeping system, reverse exit assistance and door opening warning.

A similar crossover called the Belgee X50+, manufactured in Belarus, entered the Russian market in March. On April 2, the model went on sale in a new top-end configuration at a price starting from 2.78 million rubles.
