The XV anniversary ceremony of the Advance Award was held in Moscow
The xvth "Advance" award ceremony took place in Moscow as part of the 48th Moscow International Film Festival. The KinoReporter magazine annually celebrates the most promising young artists of Russian cinema.
The event gathered on the red carpet both aspiring artists and rising stars of Russian cinema, as well as recognized masters, as well as leading industry representatives, participants and members of the MIFF jury and students of the Nikita Mikhalkov Academy of Cinematographic and Theatrical Arts.
Year after year, KinoReporter gives an Advance to those who almost immediately become stars of Russian cinema and whose work inspires millions of people. This is confirmed by the careers of past winners: Mark Eidelstein, Anna Peresild, Vladislav Miller, Alyona Dolgolenko, Roman Kurtsyn, Angelina Strechina, Tikhon Zhiznevsky, Elizaveta Ishchenko, Kuzma Kotrelev and others. Today, they are all participants in successful projects and faces of modern Russian cinema.
The winners of the "Advance" are:
— Sergey Gorodnichy – actor of the Theater on Bronnaya for the role of tankman Lekha in the TV series "Lilies of the Valley" (also noted for his work in the TV series "Cicadas", "Prince Andrew");
— Taisya Kalinina – for her outstanding roles in the projects "Highway", "How to train a fox", "Tunnel" and "Old School";
— Alexey Onezhen – for his work in the box office hit "The Tale of Tsar Saltan" (Prince Guidon), as well as roles in the TV series "The First Time" and the films "Career of a Doll", "Timur and his team".

Actress, singer and TV presenter Valeria Astapova, known for the TV series Moscow does not believe in Tears, performed at the finale of the program. Her voice became a harmonious chord that combined all the artistic lines of the ceremony. The evening ended with a dance set by musician and DJ Sasha Born.
The 15th anniversary of the Advance Award and the KinoReporter magazine was marked not by loud slogans, but by an atmosphere of exceptional sophistication. Throughout its history, the publication has shaped the image of Russian cinema through significant projects that represent standards of prestige and professionalism. Among them are the annual Event of the Year award in honor of industry masters, the Advance Award for young cinematographers, the collector's almanac – a limited—edition book chronicle with photo shoots of stars and fragments of exclusive interviews – and the Days of Russian Cinema Abroad, introducing international audiences to the richness of the national cinematic heritage. Together, these initiatives embody the desire to preserve traditions and open up new horizons, defining the magazine's role as a guardian and creator of cinematic culture.
