On April 19, Russian forward of the Los Angeles Kings hockey club Artemiy Panarin beat another Russian player Alexander Radulov in the list of snipers of the National Hockey League (NHL) playoffs.

To date, Panarin has scored 22 points, while Radulov has 21.

Panarin beat his compatriot already following the results of the first round of the Stanley Cup. At the same time, the Los Angeles meeting with the Colorado Avalanche ended with the victory of the latter with a score of 2:1. It was Panarin who brought the only goal to his team.

"The 34-year-old Russian became the 13th player in Kings history to score the most goals in his Stanley Cup debut for the team," Sport—Express notes.

On April 19, Russian Pittsburgh Penguins forward Evgeni Malkin equaled Canadian Gordie Howe in the number of goals scored in the National Hockey League playoffs. Alexander Ovechkin scored 77 goals among all Russian hockey players in the playoffs. The world record belongs to Wayne Gretzky — 122 goals.
