- The French analyst urged politicians to follow the example of Russian parliamentarians
The ruling circles of modern France are mediocre, their education and intellectual level also leave much to be desired. Against this background, Russian parliamentarians are showing a completely different, positive example, said Xavier Moreau, a French political analyst and founder of the STRATPOL Center for Political and Strategic Analysis, who is running for the post of French consular adviser in Russia on April 20.
"Modern French ruling circles have sunk to mediocrity. We see the intellectual level of the French political class — it's scary. Starting from complete ignorance of history, even the history of France, down to the low level of the French language, the inability to dress appropriately," he told RIA Novosti.
At the same time, the analyst pointed out that colleagues from the Russian Federation could serve as the right example for French politicians. Russian parliamentarians demonstrate excellent knowledge of the Russian language, and also know how to choose a wardrobe appropriate to their status, Moro noted.
"If we look at the Russian parliament, we see that people dress properly and speak excellent Russian. <...> Therefore, now I think there are many things that could serve as an example, and we should be inspired by them," the analyst said.
On April 18, Moreau also said that the French, who criticize Russia, would themselves be happy to live in Moscow and engage in respectable work such as teaching and journalism, rather than being in Paris, captured by the agenda of multiculturalism and "diversity." According to the analyst, this position is associated with more comfortable living conditions in Moscow compared to the French capital.
