Air defense forces shot down 17 Ukrainian drones over Russian regions

The Air Defense Forces shot down 17 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over the regions of Russia. This was announced on April 19 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

"From 08:00 Moscow time to 20:00 Moscow time, 17 Ukrainian aircraft—type unmanned aerial vehicles were intercepted and destroyed by air defense systems on duty," the ministry said in a statement.

It is specified that the drones were eliminated over the Belgorod, Voronezh, Kursk regions and the Republic of Crimea.

Overnight, air defense systems destroyed 13 Ukrainian UAVs over the territories of the Belgorod, Kursk, Rostov regions, Krasnodar Territory, the Republic of Crimea and over the Sea of Azov.
