Vladimir Shinkarev, one of the founders of the Mitki creative group, has died.

Vladimir Shinkarev, a Soviet and Russian artist, writer, one of the co-founders of the Mitki creative group and the ideologist of the Mitkovsky movement, passed away at the age of 72. Dmitry Shagin, the founder of Mitkov, informed Izvestia about this on April 19.

The causes of the artist's death are not specified.

Vladimir Shinkarev is known as the ideologist of the Mitkovsky movement, the co-author of the "Mitkov Canon" and the author of texts that defined the aesthetics of the association that arose in Leningrad in the 1980s.

In the 1980s, together with Alexander Florensky, Dmitry Shagin and others, he became one of the founders of the Mitki group, formulated the ideology of the movement.
