In Dagestan, the threat of dam destruction was prevented at the reservoir

Rescuers cleared a blockage on the dam at the Khala-Gork reservoir in Dagestan, which threatened its destruction. This was announced on April 19 by the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.

"By timely actions, rescuers of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations managed to avoid overflow of the hydraulic structure and, as a result, a possible dam break at the Khala-Gork reservoir in the Karabudakhkentsky district of the Republic of Dagestan," TASS reports.
