In Ukraine, it was reported about the flight of police officers during the shooting in Kiev

Two policemen got scared and fled the scene of the shooting in Kiev on Saturday, leaving civilians, including a child, without protection. This was reported on April 19 by the newspaper "Mirror of the Week".

The publication published footage from the scene, which shows how the police, hearing the first shots and screams of people, abruptly ran. At the same time, the people who stayed in place found themselves without protection.

The day before, an unknown person opened fire on people in the Holosiivsky district of Kiev. As a result of the incident, six people were killed and 15 others were injured. Special forces later eliminated the shooter in Kiev. The man took people hostage and shot at the police during the arrest.

At least ten people died as a result of the incident.

Later, the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine qualified the shooting of people in the Holosiivsky district of Kiev as a terrorist act. Prosecutor General of Ukraine Ruslan Kravchenko added that some facts have been established from the identity of the attacker: this is a man born in 1968 who used an officially registered firearm.
