The world knows that Russia will use all the necessary arsenal of weapons to defend Belarus. This was stated by President of the Republic Alexander Lukashenko in an interview with RT on April 19.

"A clash with Belarus is a clash with Belarus and Russia. We are legally bound to each other, and Russia has explicitly stated that it will use its entire arsenal of weapons to defend Belarus. The whole world knows this. America knows, and Europe knows," the Belarusian leader said.

Lukashenko noted that the loss of Belarus is unacceptable for Russia, since in the event of aggression, the enemy will end up near Smolensk and Moscow. He also stressed that a group has been created in the west of the Russian Federation that will instantly support the Belarusian army. According to the president, the Russian potential is also being added to the republic's defense potential.

According to Lukashenko, Russian tactical nuclear weapons deployed on Belarusian territory are a factor of protection and security for Minsk. He recalled that Belarus and Russia are the closest allies, and added that neither Minsk nor Moscow want war.

In a telephone conversation with Lukashenko on April 12, Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed issues of bilateral cooperation between the two countries. It was clarified that the leaders discussed topical issues in the trade and economic sphere, bilateral cooperation and the international agenda. In addition, the Presidents stressed their commitment to developing relations between Moscow and Minsk.
