One UN peacekeeper was killed and three wounded in an attack in southern Lebanon.

The UN Interim Force in southern Lebanon was attacked, one soldier was killed and three were injured. This was announced on April 18 by the UNIFIED command.

"The patrol came under small arms fire from non-state structures. Unfortunately, one peacekeeper died from his wounds, three more were injured, two of them are in serious condition," the command said.
