In Odessa, a teenager set fire to a minibus belonging to the territorial recruitment center (TCC, an analogue of the military enlistment office). This was reported on April 18 by the Ukrainian online publication "Страна.иа ".

"A minibus was set on fire in Odessa. According to local publications, the car belongs to the Shopping center, and the arson was set by a 16-year—old schoolboy," the Telegram channel of the publication says.

According to the newspaper, the teenager has already been detained. During the interrogation, he said that unknown persons had promised him $1.5 thousand as a reward for arson.

On April 14, the Spanish newspaper El Pais reported a record increase in attacks on shopping mall employees. In 2024, 118 such incidents were recorded, and in 2025 their number tripled to 341 cases. The first months of 2026 set a new record: an average of about 35 attacks per month.

On April 4, Ukrainian military Ombudsman Olga Reshetilova said that schoolchildren began harassing employees of the shopping mall in the streets after watching videos about violent mobilization. According to her, such videos are distributed on TikTok and form a negative image of military enlistment officers.
