Fico called the "beginning of the end of the EU" the abolition of the veto

The potential abolition of the veto power of the member states of the European Union (EU) will be the beginning of the end for unification. On April 17, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico warned about this during a speech broadcast by the TASR news agency.

"The EU is going through a huge crisis. The abolition of the veto is the beginning of the end of the EU, the beginning of the end of this important international organization, which none of us wants. If someone puts forward such proposals, it only demonstrates the inability to reach compromises," he said.
