A business center will be built in the Lefortovo district of Moscow as part of the Integrated territorial development program. Changes have been made to the rules of land use and development for this purpose. This was announced on Friday, April 17, by Vladimir Yefimov, Deputy Mayor of the capital for Urban Planning and Construction.

He said that the project will cover more than 2 hectares: part of the territory will be landscaped by the city, the rest by the developer, the Moscow City News agency reports. It is planned to build a business center with offices, scientific laboratories, shops and cafes, as well as underground parking. The total building area will exceed 83 thousand square meters. m. At the same time, the existing Glass Institute will be preserved and integrated into the new complex, writes NSN.

The authorities note that the modernization of the territory will become an incentive for the development of high-tech industries.

Vladislav Ovchinsky, head of the Urban Planning Policy Department, added that the project provides for landscaping, pedestrian zones and recreation spaces. According to him, the new site will become a multifunctional center of attraction for businesses and residents of the district, Moscow 24 notes.
