On April 17, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed a decree on conscription of reserve officers for military service. This was reported in the press service of the head of state.

"In 2026, it is planned to call up male citizens of Belarus under the age of 27 from among reserve officers who have not completed military service, service in the reserve of the Armed Forces, who are not eligible for a draft deferral," the document says on the website.
