- About 60 apartments for orphaned children will be commissioned in Khabarovsk in 2026
By the end of 2026, 56 more apartments designed for orphaned children will appear in Khabarovsk. Check-in is planned in October.
The relevant equity participation agreements were concluded by the Regional Ministry of Construction. About 400 million rubles were allocated from the federal budget for the project.
According to IA AmurMedia, houses with apartments for orphaned children are being built in the village of Berezovka, Krasnoflotsky district. These will be one-room apartments of up to 43 square meters with basic finishes. The developer will carry out repairs in them, install doors, kitchen stoves and plumbing.
The agency told IA AmurMedia that over the past three years, the number of apartments provided to citizens of this category has increased. If in 2023 221 people will receive apartments, then in 2025 — already 370. Various support measures, including payments and housing certificates, help in providing housing.
The developer is required to provide basic repairs, install doors, kitchen stoves and plumbing.
Earlier, Deputy chairman of the relevant committee Sergey Kolunov, United Russia party, said that measures are being discussed in Russia to support the construction of rental housing, which will be rented at reduced prices, such initiatives are being considered by the State Duma Committee on Construction and Housing and Communal Services. The parliamentarians discussed the relevant measures with the Ministry of Construction, the Public Council under the Ministry and the professional community. The first proposal suggests a concession for such houses. In this case, the interest rate on the construction loan will be lower due to government guarantees that reduce the bank's risks. This will also lead to a reduction in the cost of housing.
