The special project "Mosquito x Four-legged friend" helped to find owners for a dozen animals

Ten cats and one dog found owners on the first day of the launch of the project "Mosquito x Four-Legged Friend", which will take place on Tverskaya Boulevard for three more days as part of the Easter Gift festival. This was told by the organizers of the event.

As part of the campaign, which takes place, including on Tverskaya Boulevard, visitors can get to know more than 200 cats and dogs from Moscow shelters. To make the acquaintance conscious, guests can walk with their favorite pet, accompanied by a volunteer, get advice from representatives of the shelter and take the animal home after the interview. For a comfortable adaptation, each host is given a special box from a project partner.

In the mobile vet station, specialists from the Moscow Veterinary Committee carry out inspections, advise on nutrition and maintenance, carry out rabies vaccination, chipping, ear sanitation and claw shearing.

On a separate film platform with barriers, swings and slides, agility classes are held under the guidance of a cynologist. Consultations of zoopsychologists are held in the lecture hall. Guests are also introduced to the city's digital services, including the Mospitomets project. Volunteers share their experience of interacting with shelter animals, and those who wish can replenish the "basket of goodness" with food.

There is also an open-air market on Tverskaya Boulevard. Here you can find clothes, accessories and cosmetics for pets.

Last year, during the Easter Gift, more than 30 Moscow shelters found their owners. More than a ton of dry food was collected. All donations collected through the "baskets of goodness" went to city shelters.

The Easter Gift Festival takes place in Moscow from 11 to 19 April. In total, about 40 charitable organizations take part in it.
