A novice driver was killed when a car collided with a power transmission pole in the Angara region.

In the Bayandaevsky district of the Irkutsk region, an 18-year-old driver was killed and two of his passengers were injured as a result of a car collision with a power line pole. This is reported by the regional State Traffic Inspectorate.

The accident occurred on the night of April 16 on the 1st km of the highway at the entrance to the village of Bayandai. It was previously established that the driver of a Toyota Corolla born in 2007 lost control. The car left the roadway and crashed into a pole.

The novice motorist died on the spot. Two of his passengers, born in 2008, received various injuries in the accident, one of whom was not yet 18 years old. The girls were admitted to the district hospital.

The police are conducting a check on the fatal accident, IrkutskMedia news agency writes. All circumstances are being established.

On the same day, on the M-12 highway in Tatarstan, a Hyundai Solaris passenger car literally flew under the trailer of a Valdai truck. The driver and three passengers of the car were killed.
