One person was killed and 20 injured in a train accident in Slovakia.

In Slovakia, as a result of a collision between a train and a truck, one person was killed and 20 injured. This was announced on April 16 by the Aktuality portal.

The tragedy occurred at a railway crossing in Dunaysk-Streda in the south of the country. As a result of the collision, the train derailed due to a leak of diesel fuel.

"About 20 people received more minor injuries caused by broken glass. One passenger has head injuries," said Emil Sedlarzhik, a representative of the carrier.

As a result of the incident, the truck driver was killed, and the road at the collision site was blocked. The police are currently continuing their work to determine the exact causes of the incident.
